Family house
The house is formed by the intersection of two materials with embracing the center aisle roofs - atrium. The building uses a combination of stone and wood and is interconnected with an adjacent garden.
construction time
Construction was completed and put into use in July 2008. Work on the project (studies and documentation for administrative proceedings were started in 2006, construction was started in 2007.
used technologies, materials and products:
Roof cladding and plumbing details are created from titanium zinc sheet. In its detail, particularly used stone, wood and stainless steel and galvanized metalwork design. Built up area is 230 m2. Heavy sandwich walls of masonry POROTHERM, log sandwich wall, face sandstone walls, grass roof. MIAKO ceilings, ceiling portion is open to the wooden truss. Fencing is designed as a wall of stone masonry facing. Locksmith details of blackened steel.
The building received the prize in the competition Buliding of the Year of the Pardubice region in 2008 for the unusual and thoughtful architectural and structural design, quality of design with attention to precise detail and high quality materials. Also it was awarded by the State Environmental Fund for energy efficiency in the competition Building of the Year 2009.
