Good design is a complex endeavor I am determined to master. I have engaged the creative side of design since I first held a pen, evolving from traditional arts to computer graphics and eventually expanding into architecture. However, spatial design fascinates me beyond aesthetics. I revel in the societal impact of architecture (after witnessing the effect first-hand in participatory planning) and academically explore the discipline’s philosophical and theoretical dimensions at UC Berkeley. International study and praxis have opened my mind to new perspectives–yet there will always be more to learn. Thus, I seek further diverse environments and transformative experiences, aiming to design well with an open mind.
